Sigur Roś, Björk and Gus Gus: the main Icelandic music exports of the past three decades. The latter, though not as famous as the first two, has been a stable name in the field of electronic scene from the mid-nineties. Gus Gus are not known only for their various types of pop tunes, but particularly for their frenetic live gigs, where it doesn't really matter if they play trip-hop, house or techno. Many great musicians, such as Emiliana Torrini, Hafdís Huld or Daniel Ágúst (who is currently back in the band), went through the revolving doors of Gus Gus: in 1995, 12 people played in the band, thirteen years on, only two founding members - Stephan Stephensen and Birgir Þórarinsson remain. Gus Gus will showcase their most recent album, their eight, Arabian Horse.

Born in 1985, Teapot a.k.a.Tomáš Ferko produces electronic music that stands between and around dubstep, minimal techno a cinematic IDM, though he in some ways merges his sound with his shitgaze side-project Obete sekty (Victims of a sect). The participant of the Red Bull Music Academy 2004 in Rome, has played dozens of gigs, sharing the stage with Coldcut, Jamie Woon or Teebs, has released a remix bootleg EP Treatment and many songs and remixes on various compilations until he finally debuted in 2011 with his EP Unrest II. That EP should be a prelude to his long expected debut album.
